Shepherd House is a type of building found in villages of every biome style in both Java Edition and Bedrock Edition. It is the job site for the shepherd villager, who uses a loom as their workstation. The building is built in the style of the village it appears in, typically using spruce wood, snow, and packed ice in snowy villages.
Only shepherd houses in snowy villages contain a loot chest. The chest may contain wool in various colors, wheat, emeralds, and sometimes shears. White wool and wheat are the most common items, while colored wool, emeralds, and tools are less frequently found.
Shepherd houses typically include a loom, a bed, and simple decorative features. These buildings are part of the randomized village structure pool and do not appear in every village.
