Mason House is a village building that appears in villages of every biome style in both Java Edition and Bedrock Edition. It serves as the job site for the mason villager, also known as the stonemason, who uses a stonecutter as their job site block. The building is built in the style of the village it appears in, typically using acacia wood and terracotta in savanna villages.
Only mason houses in savanna villages contain a loot chest. The chest may include items such as bread, stone, stone bricks, clay balls, emeralds, flower pots, smooth stone, and yellow dye. Bread is the most common item, while emeralds and decorative or building materials are less frequent.
The interior usually features a stonecutter, a bed, and simple furniture or shelves. Mason houses are randomly selected from the pool of available structures and may not appear in every village.
