Stronghold lies underground in the Overworld and holds the End Portal, the only way to reach the End dimension. Strongholds can be located using an eye of ender, which guides players to their position.
Strongholds contain loot chests scattered throughout specific rooms like libraries, corridors, and storerooms. Libraries may have one or two levels and include bookshelves, oak planks, chests, and cobwebs. Lighting varies, but many rooms are dim enough to allow hostile mobs to spawn.
