End Ship is a rare aerial structure that generates within the outer islands of the End dimension, appearing alongside certain End City towers. Not every End City features one. This scarcity makes the End Ship one of the most sought-after destinations in Survival mode.
The vessel is constructed primarily from purpur blocks and end stone bricks, taking the shape of a large sailing ship complete with a mast, crow's nest, and sails. Its interior is divided into three distinct sections: an open main deck, a rear aftercastle housing a brewing stand, and a lower treasure room with an obsidian floor. A dragon head is affixed to the bow, the only natural source of this decorative block.
The treasure room holds two loot chests containing high-value items such as diamonds, enchanted diamond equipment, iron, gold, emeralds, and beetroot seeds. The most notable find, however, is a pair of elytra displayed in an item frame on the wall — the End Ship is the sole Survival-mode source of elytra in the entire game, making it the destination for players seeking gliding flight.
Shulkers guard the End Ship, firing homing projectiles that inflict the Levitation effect. To reach the ship, players must first defeat the ender dragon, pass through an End Gateway, locate a connected End City, and carefully navigate its tower bridge — all while avoiding a fatal fall into the void below.
