Crimson Button

Block

Craft a Crimson Button from crimson planks. How it works in redstone builds, plus full stats for Java & Bedrock.

The Crimson Button is a Redstone component that provides a temporary Redstone signal when pressed. It functions identically to other wooden buttons but is made from crimson wood. A Crimson Button is crafted using 1 Crimson Plank in a 2×2 crafting grid. It does not generate naturally and must be crafted by the player.

When placed, a Crimson Button can be pressed by tapping on it. It emits a Redstone signal for 1.5 seconds (30 game ticks) before deactivating automatically. Unlike a Lever, it does not stay powered and must be pressed again to reactivate. A Crimson Button can be placed on the top, side, or bottom of solid blocks. It can be broken instantly by hand or with any tool. Unlike a Stone Button, a Crimson Button has a longer activation time, making it useful for Redstone devices that require slightly extended pulses.
