Dark Oak Planks are crafted from Dark Oak Logs and have a deep brown color. They are used in crafting wooden structures and items like doors, fences, and boats. Dark Oak Planks can be broken by hand, but using an axe speeds up the process.
They naturally generate in mineshafts within badlands biomes, woodland mansions, ocean ruins, shipwrecks, pillager outposts, and ancient cities. Like other Overworld planks, they can be used as fuel in furnaces, smelting 1.5 items per block.
