The Woodland Mansion Map is a specialized map that helps players locate a Woodland Mansion. It is primarily used for finding Illagers, secret rooms, and loot inside the structure.
A Woodland Mansion Map can be obtained by trading with cartographer villagers at master level in exchange for emeralds and a compass. It cannot be crafted, though one can also turn up in the hidden chest of an abandoned camp.
When held and viewed, the Woodland Mansion Map shows a top-down view of the surrounding terrain, with a player marker and a Woodland Mansion icon. The player marker moves when traveling, helping guide them toward the mansion. The map does not update terrain details beyond its original rendering.
Unlike a normal map, a Woodland Mansion Map has a fixed destination and does not track new areas explored by the player.
A Woodland Mansion Map can be placed in item frames for display or used as a navigation tool.
The structure a map leads to depends on the trading villager's biome. Each of the two or three possible maps is a separate trade, so one villager can offer several maps.
