Raw Copper is an ore item obtained by mining copper ore or deepslate copper ore without a Silk Touch pickaxe. It drops two to five Raw Copper per block, though using a pickaxe enchanted with Fortune increases the yield.
Raw Copper is primarily used for smelting into copper ingots, which are required to craft lightning rods, spyglasses, and copper blocks. It can also be crafted into Raw Copper blocks, which serve as compact storage.
Due to its high availability in ore veins and its uses in decoration, redstone contraptions, and weather protection, Raw Copper is in steady demand among builders and engineers.
