Golden Horse Armor is a protective item that can be equipped on horses to provide defense against attacks. It provides 7 armor points — more than the 5 given by iron horse armor — and is rarer to find. Unlike leather horse armor , it cannot be crafted and must be found in dungeon chests, desert pyramids, jungle pyramids, Nether fortresses, end cities, strongholds, ruined portals, or village weaponsmith chests .
Golden Horse Armor does not have durability and will never break, making it a reliable option for keeping a horse safe. However, it cannot be enchanted or repaired . It is often collected for its appearance or to match a gold-themed aesthetic.
