Feathers are obtained by killing chickens and parrots or looting chests in villages. They are a renewable resource, often farmed through chicken farms.
Adult chickens drop 0–2 Feathers upon death. The maximum is increased by 1 per level of Looting, for a maximum of 0–5 with Looting III.
Parrots drop 1–2 Feathers upon death. The maximum is increased by 1 per level of Looting, for a maximum of 1–5 with Looting III.
Feathers are primarily used to craft arrows, books and quills, and firework stars. They are needed to craft arrows for bows and crossbows.
