A Stone Axe is a tool crafted from sticks and cobblestone, making it an upgrade from the wooden axe. It is primarily used to chop wood and wooden blocks more efficiently, but it also deals high melee damage, making it a strong early-game weapon. With increased durability and speed compared to a wooden axe, it is commonly used before obtaining iron tools. Due to its availability and effectiveness, a Stone Axe is a reliable choice for gathering wood in the early game.
