Enchanted golden apples , also known as god apples or notch apples , are one of the rarest and most powerful food items in Minecraft. They cannot be crafted and can be found in loot chests within structures such as ancient cities, bastion remnants, desert temples, and woodland mansions.
When eaten, an Enchanted Golden Apple restores four hunger points and grants powerful effects, including Regeneration II , Absorption IV , Resistance , and Fire Resistance , making it one of the best survival items in the game. These effects provide significant protection in combat, especially against bosses like the Ender Dragon and Wither .
Due to their extreme rarity and strong buffs, enchanted golden apples are highly sought after in survival and PvP. They are also required to craft banner patterns with the Mojang logo, adding a decorative use beyond their powerful combat benefits.
